'DOPOD' runtuh - Part III (final part)

So what exactly happened to my Dopod ?

I SOLD it. Yup. The very next day, I took my dad and went to Lowyat and instead of buying stuffs, I was scouting for a potential buyer. The first shop offered me RM 1500. I told him to go die. The second shop wanted to buy at RM 2300. I said I will come back if I could not find a better price. The 3rd shop offered me RM 2550 and I decided to sell on the spot. The feeling of holding solid 51 pieces of RM50 , PRICELESS.

The reason I sold off the Dopod is because I could not imagine myself walking around with a gadget worth that much. I'm a clumsy ass. I've dropped my 3310 a gazzilion times. I've thrown it against the wall twice (accidently). Despite believing that the Dopod would certainly attract the chicks, it would also attract those people with knives, not a good idea at all. Further more, I could always use the extra cash for the car. Dopod felt good in my hands, but the cash aaaaahhhhhhhh pure pleasure.

Now I was without a phone. What did I do ? I stole my mom's phone. It was supposed to be a temporary phone, until I got one I liked. It never materialized. I fell in love with the Nokia 1110 instantly. Simple, small and lightweight (the total opposite of my brick phone, the 3310). I then bought my mom another model for Rm 250. I was actually thinking of getting a N80 or even K800 but then again, I needed the money for the car.

Humm, RM 2550. What do you do with that much money ? Let me tell you what I did. I got myself a couple of things at PC Fair III.
- Sonic Forge EVO III ( RM 100)
- Thumbdrive from Pendrive with Skin (RM65)
- Canon Powershot A530 camera ( RM 630)
- LG DVD Burner (RM115)

Total spent = Rm 1160

Balance = Rm 1390 (everything was used up for the car)
