This fellow ( Rooney) needs anger management treatment. Second time England going out in a major tournament. Second time against Portugal. Second time due to Rooney. Humm.
I believe Sven made a grave mistake by putting 2 of the worlds best together. I'm not talking about Owen and Rooney. I'm talking about Lampard and Gerrard. One shined, the other faded. I felt that after the first 2 games , Sven would have introduced a better player in the midfield maybe some one like J.Cole and given Stewart Downing a chance on the left side.
Lampard - sucked big time ! He was the reason England lost. Arrggh I'm still having my post- world cup withdrawal sympthoms.
The way I see it, unless Mclaren can make sure England has more potential along the wings, they can be a threath to any team. Oh yeah, not forgetting BETTER PENALTY TAKERS !!
