Here is a list of sample english words which are currently being used by the female population (unless I'm the lost one)

bui bui - bye bye
cimply - simply
cheweet - sweet
i heart u - i love you
FaQ - fuck u

In Australia if someone says " WORD" - it means COOL. Ain't nothing like a person coming up to you telling " Hey mate, ur looking WORD". God save the Aussie's.

Darn it! Murali, wat have u got against girls???? It's like ur spending ur adolescence trying to figure out girls. Nice try, but no one ever managed to do so. So quit it :P By the time u have them figured out, u hair will b grey n thinning, that is.. ruling out the fact that u might be bald by then :)

But then again, I hate those terms.. especially that 'bui bui'. It's annoying. Y can't we use English as it is?? Already the amount of bad words are large enough to be made into Oxford Learner's Dictionary of Bad Words :P

Adding on, take a look at that 'bui bui' ( it has really gotten into my system.. it's THAT annoying ). It has the same 6 letters as 'bye bye' does, so abbreviation is not the main point here.'i heart you' is longer than 'i love u' ~X(. Well, the only word here i can give credit to is 'FaQ' heheheh.....

Ciao!

If you're in US, you only need to know two words to fit with the locals easily:

- Excited (as in, "I'm excited". Exceptionally useful if they ask you what do you think of something, and you have no answer to give to them.)
and
- Awesome (as in, "This is awesome!" Make sure to pronounce it in an excited way.)

When you're in Hong Kong, the best way to say "okay" is by showing the peace sign and shouting excitedly, "Alright!" (Try shaking your hands a bit to left and right while showing the peace sign. It gives an added advantage.)

Merely from my own experience :P
