Well lots of things have been said about the downfall of MU and that Alex Ferguson has been with the team for a long time and he is makin more blunders in a season than he has in his previous 15 seasons with MU. It all came down to the showdown with Arsenal at OT. I would not say it was a beautiful game but rather a game with its own physical way. Arsenal were simply outclassed. The inclusion of Phil Neville proved that Alex had his team selection rite. RVN seems to be lacking the confidence now days but with more games to come, I believe he will be back to his best. Rooney was the one who ended Arsenal unbeaten run when he was at Everton and here he was again to deny Arsenal their 50th unbeaten run game. People may say he faked the fall for a penalty but remember what goes around comes around. Remember what Pires did against Portsmouth in the dying minutes ? With good defending and had work MU will surely bounce back and retain the title. As for Arsenal may they are gonna attempt the longest losing team.
Lets talk about the current players that Alex has bought. Kleberson for instance is not a bad player. He was with the winning Brazil World Cup squad. He deserves more time to prove his worth. Playin in central midfield is his best position. Eric Djemba Djemba is an international Cameroon player who is capable of playing at a very high level with MU. He is good at defending and his body attributes can really intimidate opponents. His only weakness is his passing. Liam Miller plungged with injury is still a decent midfield player. A flexible player who can play on the right and central midfield. A good crosser and good at defending too. Ronaldo is summone we don't have to introduce any further. Tricks and skills are his middle name. His weakness - defending with the team.He does not go into tackles or pressures any oponents. Saha and Smith both are the typical out and out strikers unlike RVN. They prefer to work their way from outside the box b4 entering the 18 yard box. They are hardworking and put in tackles after tackles. Smith defied the odds when the left Leeds for MU yet he has proven his worth by being the top scorer with 7 goals till this very moment. Players may come players may go but MU is here to stay and win championship. May the force be with MU !!
