EPL Talk

The past few days, we have seen a couple of wonderful goals coming from players such as Kanu, Matthew Taylor ( Portsmouth) , Didier Drogba,Frank Lampard, Essien (Chelsea) and Huddlestone (Tothenham) and Bentley ( Blackburn) just to name a few.

Matthew Taylor

Didier Drogba

Many of the football pundits were talking about how well the shots were taken and how Matthew Taylors and Didier Drogba were gunning for the Goal of the Season since they have been banging superb goals like taking a stroll in the park.

What many people never spoke about was AGAINST whom this goals were scored ? That's right. The only reasons these goals became 'goal of the season' is because the keepers fail to save the ball from entering the net.

Tim Howard

Two of the best goals last week scored by Matthew Taylors and Didier Drogba was against this man, TIM HOWARD currently on loan at Everton. Sad to say, I had high hopes for him when he joined United back in 2003. I managed to watch the video that was compiled during his MSL days and they were amazing. His reflexes was superb, he had the agility and he was big. Then as usual , the 'MU keeper jinx' took its toll on Tim and he was loaned out. Thanks to him, Chelsea won 3-2 against Everton and closed the gap at the top to 2 points. Two so-called wonder goals by Frank Lampard (81st) and Didier Drogba (87th min). Thanks to West Ham for fucking up MU's game the other day. Arrgh.

__Football makes me emotional__

My bet is if Drogba can maintain his form this season, the following awards will be decorating his bare cabinets in his London home.
- Player of the Month ( December)
- Player of the Year in EPL ( If Chelsea wins anything at all)
- Player of the Year for the club

- European Player if Chelsea progresses till the semi-final the very least
